The Girl Scouts of North East Ohio worked with Emerge to develop a web based system to enable troop leaders to request cookie booth space at local stores and shopping centers. Cookie lovers can use the system to find cookie sales located near their house or office.

Girl Scout troops visit the website to view a list of available locations to set-up a cookie booth. When they find an appropriate location, they can request the space and upon approval their girls can sell Girl Scout Cookies at that location on that day.

Anyone interested in Girl Scout Cookies can view a calendar and do a search to find grocery stores and shopping centers near their work or house where they can purchase Girl Scout Cookies.

Girl Scouts are taking cookie orders between January 4, 2008 to February 2, 2008. Booth sales at local businesses start February 22, 2008 and run through March 17, 2008. Cookies are $3.50 per box and are delicious (as evidenced by the empty boxes in the Emerge conference room).

Emerge recently worked with Assured Vacation Rentals (AVR) to launch a new website designed to create a destination for travelers to find rentals, plan trips and share experiences.

If you own vacation rental property, you can help us grow the site. Through March 31, 2008, the site is offering free 1-year listings.

One exciting feature of the site is a voice description and photo slide show (view a slide show). Emerge developed the application that enables AVR to quickly create these dynamic presentations.

Visit the Lorain County General Health District website for a short piece of advice that, if followed, will improve your health. Each time the home page is visited, a new tip is displayed in a dynamic moving graphic.

A password protected administration section enables the Health District to add new tips to the site by simply completing a web form.
