Cyber Monday Sets 1-day Spending Record
December 4th, 2007Over $733 million was spent online by consumers on Cyber Monday, the first Monday after Thanksgiving, a 21% increase over last year.
According to Nielsen Online, 32.5 million people shopped online on Cyber Monday, an increase of 38% over last year. Sixty percent of dollars spent online came from work computers, with the remainder coming from home and university computers.
