Emerge builds websites on a variety of platforms including Wordpress, Joomla, a variety of ecommerce options and an Emerge developed custom CMS platform. We start by understanding the customer and establishing the goals and objectives of the website. Next we develop a visual design that conveys the business brand, a site structure that is easy to navigate and responsive to future changes, pages and components that achieve the specified purpose of the website and social and mobile integration where most beneficial.
The hallmark of our website development strategy is continuous improvement. An Emerge team member meets face-to-face with the client on a quarterly basis to 1) shares a list of ideas we have to enhance/improve the site, 2) listens to the client's needs and ideas, and 3) builds a prioritized list of updates to be made during the quarter.
Application Development
We refer to this as our "Shuffle Less Paper" division. We have delivered over 100 application development projects in the past 6 years. We start by understanding the vision and the value that is intended to be created by the application. We then build user stories, work with the client to prioritize these stories and use an iterative process to deliver a high quality project.

From iPhone to Android to HTML5, Emerge can create a mobile application that excites users and solves business needs. We are working with school districts, community sites, city government and park districts to use mobile technology.
